Museum Vaassen Historie

Museum Vaassen Historie delves into the local history of Vaassen.

The museum's permanent exhibitions are centered around the following themes:

- General local history, with a particular focus on industry and craftsmanship
- War and liberation
- Art

The exploration of local history ranges from a permanent exhibit highlighting industries like iron casting and aluminum production to temporary thematic displays covering topics such as the Moluccan community, water mills, schools, and shops along Dorpsstraat, among others.

The emphasis on World War II primarily revolves around the air war that occurred in the region. Numerous aircraft, both Allied and German, crashed here, with some crew members surviving these incidents. The museum also delves into the histories of local residents sent to the Dutch East Indies.

In addition to its permanent displays, the museum hosts three to four annual themed exhibitions.
