Collectie Oldebroek 4045

The Oldebroek 4045 Collection recounts the events of World War II using original materials, documents, and artifacts dating from 1940 to 1945.
This museum is the brainchild of Beerd Bovendorp, who has created a unique exhibition space behind his residence. Inside, you'll discover an extraordinary array of items, ranging from ration books, cigarette packages, and cans to medical supplies, bullet casings, jerry cans, aircraft components, helmets, uniforms, newspapers, emblems, an antique telephone exchange, and even a Willys MB Jeep. While much of the collection hails from Oldebroek, it also features contributions from neighboring areas and even other parts of the country.

The museum welcomes visitors every Wednesday afternoon from April to October, between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Additionally, it opens its doors on selected Saturday afternoons, with specific dates available on the museum's website. Admission to the museum is free, although voluntary donations in the designated box at the entrance are highly appreciated.
