On July 27, 2022, the new exhibition 'In the Footsteps of Titus Brandsma' was opened at the De Tiid museum in Bolsward.
In this exhibition, we follow the timeline through the eventful life of recently canonized Titus Brandsma.
Titus Brandsma, a proud Frisian, Catholic, Carmelite friar, professor, resistance hero, journalist, martyr, and mystic. He became known for his compassion for others, his struggle against the German occupiers, National Socialism, and freedom of the press.

- 2022: Canonized in Rome by Pope Francis
