Nationaal Monument Kamp Vught

The Nationaal Monument Kamp Vught (National Monument Camp) Vught is located on a part of the former SS-Konzentrationslager Herzogenbusch, also known as Camp Vught. At the site where a modern memorial center now stands, more than 31,000 people were held captive in 1943 and 1944. The museum provides an insight into how people became perpetrators, victims, or bystanders. Outside, you can see the authentic camp ditch and the crematorium, along with reconstructions of barracks and watchtowers. There are regular new exhibitions as well.
