Algemene Begraafplaats Barendrecht

The general cemetery in Barendrecht was inaugurated on June 1, 1871. The oldest graves date back to 1872 and can be found in the old historic section. The cemetery features various sections, including a Roman Catholic area, urn graves, an urn wall, and a scattering field. The cemetery is beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained. In 2014, Klink Uitvaart conducted a thorough renovation of the funeral center to ensure it meets contemporary standards.

In the south-western part, close to the chapel, is the grave of an Australian airman.
