Swing Shift (1984)

During World War II, Jack and Kay Walsh's lives are upended. Jack enlists in the Navy, leaving Kay to join a factory as a riveter alongside Hazel, their neighbor. The two women become close friends, and Kay must navigate her feelings for a fellow worker while remaining loyal to Jack. When Jack returns from the war, Kay faces the challenge of returning to her old life.
