Submarine Seahawk (1958)

Assigned to his first command in the Pacific theater of World War II, a rigid and rule-abiding officer receives orders to lead his submarine on a reconnaissance mission. Their objective: to locate a fleet of Japanese warships that the Allies have lost track of. Initially, the crew is disheartened by his aloof demeanor and reluctance to engage the Japanese forces.
