Strayed (2003)

In June 1940, as German forces advance on Paris, Odile, a widowed teacher, succumbs to the widespread panic and flees the city with her two children. Philippe, on the brink of adolescence, and little Cathy, who knows only that they are heading South. After covering fifty kilometers, a German plane attacks, causing immense devastation to the helpless refugees. Odile and her children lose everything. Suddenly, a shaven-headed youth named Yvan, aged seventeen, appears out of nowhere and guides them away from the chaos. Cut off from the rest of the world and living in cramped conditions, Odile and Yvan grapple with their own desires.
