Saints and Soldiers (2003)

Having endured a harrowing massacre in Malmedy, a secluded spot deep within enemy territory in Europe, four American soldiers armed with just a single weapon mount a daring rescue mission for British pilot Oberon Winley (Kirby Heyborn), who is stranded in a tree. Together, they embark on a perilous journey, striving to reach the Allied forces and thwart a looming German assault using critical intelligence gathered by Winley during his reconnaissance flight. Along the way, as they march through treacherous terrain, each soldier shares their most guarded secrets with the rest of the group.
