On the eve of D-Day, which is on June 5, 1944, a group of American paratroopers is dropped behind enemy lines with a crucial mission: destroy a radio tower located in a small castle in a French town. This tower serves as a communication link between Berlin and the bunkers on Normandy beaches, and its destruction is vital to the success of the invasion. The paratroopers face heavy enemy fire during their drop, resulting in many casualties. Only a few survive, including Private Ed Boyce. They join forces with Corporal Ford, an explosives expert, sniper Tibbet, war photographer Chase, and Private Dawson. Ford takes charge of the group, and they set out to reach the town and complete their mission.
As they approach the town, they encounter Chloe, a local villager who offers them shelter in her home along with her elderly aunt and young brother Paul. However, the mission takes a dark turn when Boyce accidentally discovers sinister experiments being conducted in the Nazi-occupied village. With D-Day approaching, Boyce and the team realize that there's more to this mission than they initially thought, and they must uncover the disturbing secrets hidden in the village.
