Lili Marleen (1981)

In Switzerland, the German singer Willie falls in love with Robert, a Jewish composer who defies the Nazis by aiding refugees. However, Robert's family is suspicious of Willie, believing she might be associated with the Nazis, which poses a threat to them. In a pivotal moment, Willie assists Robert but is compelled to remain in Germany. Her rendition of 'Lili Marleen' propels her to fame, reaching every soldier through the radio, including Hitler's desire to meet her. Despite her newfound celebrity, Willie cannot forget Robert and continues to support the smuggling of concentration camp photos to Switzerland. Meanwhile, Robert longs to reunite with her but is apprehended. Will their paths ever cross again?
