Islands in the Stream (1977)

In the British-controlled Bahamas of 1940, Thomas Mann, a divorced American artist, resides with a close-knit group of friends, including Captain Ralph and Lil. Tom's life is divided into three chronological chapters. In "The Boys," his three sons visit after four years apart, revealing family tensions. "The Woman" sees Audrey, Tom's past love, arriving unexpectedly, shedding light on their complicated relationship. Finally, in "The Journey," Tom sails back to the U.S., encountering unexpected events due to the war and Eddy's actions.
