Enemy at the Gates (2001)

During World War II, the fall of Stalingrad signifies the potential collapse of an entire nation. Amid the ongoing conflict between Germans and Russians, every block is contested, leaving only ruins in their wake. Russian sniper Vassili Zaitsev stealthily hunts down German soldiers, methodically weakening their morale. His exploits are publicized by political officer Danilov, aiming to boost his countrymen's spirits. However, Vassili begins to grapple with the weight of expectations placed upon him. Complicating matters, both Vassili and Danilov develop feelings for the same woman, Tanya, a fellow soldier.
