"Autobiography of a World War Two Tailhooker" is a personal account that delves into various aspects of my life, starting from my youth and extending through my years of service as a naval aviator. This narrative spans decades, encompassing both times of war and peace. It highlights numerous instances where I narrowly escaped death, both before and after my naval aviation career. I approach the subject with sincerity, crediting my survival to what I believe is "Divine Intervention." Additionally, I share stories of the close friendships I developed during flight training and while serving on different aircraft carriers, particularly within divebombing squadrons during and after World War Two.
