A Jewish family flees Germany just before the outbreak of World War II, seeking refuge in Kenya where they begin a new life as farmers. However, adjusting to their new surroundings proves challenging for some family members. As events unfold rapidly in Germany, returning becomes increasingly impossible. Each member of the family must find a way to adapt to their new life on a different continent.
