Sailor of the King (1953)

The HMS Aylesbury falls victim to the German raider Essen, resulting in the survival of just two men who are plucked from the sea by the damaged German vessel. As the Germans set course for a secluded harbor to undertake the necessary repairs following the intense battle, one of the survivors believes it is his duty to impede the repair efforts, buying the Royal Navy precious time to track down and neutralize the enemy ship.
