Out of the Ashes (2003)

This poignant film, inspired by actual events, tells the story of Gisella Perl (Christine Lahti), a Jewish-Hungarian doctor who miraculously survives Auschwitz. Many years later, she seeks U.S. citizenship but faces accusations of collaboration with the Nazis. Her fate rests in the hands of three INS investigators (portrayed by Bruce Davison, Richard Crenna, and Beau Bridges) who must determine her innocence or guilt.
