The Last Stage (1948)

Martha Weiss, a Jewish woman, along with her family, is transported to Auschwitz concentration camp. Upon their arrival, Martha is unexpectedly selected as an interpreter, but tragically, her entire family perishes. As they await liberation by the Red Army, the film portrays Martha and her friends as they endure the harsh conditions and cruelty of both the camp guards and the equally oppressive 'capos,' prisoners who serve as administrative personnel.
