This movie is inspired by the true story of the Polish submarine "Orzel" (The Eagle). In September 1939, the "Orzel" seeks refuge in the neutral harbor of Tallinn, Estonia, but faces pressure from Germany, leading to its internment by the Estonians. Commander Grabinski makes a daring decision to escape to England via the Baltic Sea, despite having lost their maps and having limited fuel on board.
