In 1944, as the German defeat in World War II looms, a faction of high-ranking officers hatches a plot to assassinate Hitler. Stauffenberg (Sebastian Koch), one of the leaders of the conspiracy, takes on the dangerous mission of detonating a bomb during a meeting with the Fuhrer. Despite the attempt, Hitler survives, and the officers involved face execution. This historical film unveils the true events of this failed operation known as the "Valkyrie Operation."
