Decision Before Dawn (1951)

As WWII reaches its final stages, Germany stands in ruins and resists surrender. The US army faces a critical information gap concerning the German forces across the Rhine. To address this, they opt to dispatch two German prisoners on a perilous mission to gather intel. The plan is fraught with danger due to the Gestapo's efficient spy-catching network. Enter "Tiger," who excels in covert operations for the right price, and "Happy," a battle-weary soldier whose emotions could make him vulnerable to exposure. With Tiger and another American agent successfully infiltrated, Happy is then parachuted into Bavaria. His task: locate a formidable German armored unit en route to the western front.
